Spiritual leaders are connected leaders; connected both to the Spirit and to team they serve. Individuals who serve on Newark Presbytery teams are also connected to their respective place of ministry in a community of faith, but are always mindful that they represent the presbytery body as a whole. We have been blessed with servant leaders who seek to serve the great ends of the church by collaborating with other individuals, congregations, and organizations that make the work of God through Jesus Christ in our presbytery, and the body of Christ around the world.
Team candidates must be committed to prepare for, and participate in, meetings as scheduled for the team they serve. Team members are co-learners with their colleagues and demonstrate strong strategic thinking, enthusiasm, vision, and adaptive thinking capabilities.
