It is being re-designed to help you connect to the vibrant, missional work of forty-one (41) multi-cultural and multi-ethnic congregations actively committed to delivering the Good News to the almost 800,000 residents of Essex and parts of Hudson and Bergen counties in New Jersey. Newark Presbytery is related to the Synod of the Northeast and the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is energized in New Jersey by working with our colleagues in the New Jersey Presbytery Partnership Groups. We celebrate our unity in Christ and seek the discernment and the transformational leadership of the Holy Spirit as we work collaboratively to be effective congregations, answering God's Call to love the whole person in the whole world. Newark Presbytery has begun an exciting and important "deep change" journey in executing a new mission design.
